Good day everyone!
It’s been a long time since I put out a new post, but I thought it was high-time for a bit of an update on the goings on, here at Megacycle Entertainment. Things have certainly been busy, both for myself and for the community, and I finally have a few free minutes to share all of the projects that have been developing over the last few months.
First off, the Intro for my YouTube channel has needed a redux for far too long. The last one I did was over 5 years ago and the audio, video resolution and other aspects of it were pretty janky. I’ve learned a lot since then so I thought it would be a good idea to redo the intro with a bit more effort. This time you won’t hear me breathing and the resolution of all the games will actually fit the screen! Check out the new intro below. 😀
Also, my YouTube channel just hit 4000 subscribers and for that I couldn’t be happier. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. It’s been a long one, but I’m incredibly thankful for choosing this path and meeting all of the amazing people that I have along the way.
Next, our web presence, the Megacycle Entertainment site. Come to think of it, absolutely everything about the Megacycle Entertainment website has been updated and reworked. This effort also included upgrading the hosting/database applications that support the site. This was a massive effort but went well overall. You actually may not notice much of a change but it is quite a bit snappier from my testing. That and a few of the plugins fell out of support, so those needed to be reexamined and proper replacements needed to be found.
Lastly, the Discord Community has had some changes as well. Now that we’ve reached over 350 members, we’ve been doubling down our efforts on ensuring that game servers are up and running and that gamers can find the resources they need if any questions arise. Our community remains as a welcoming place for gamers of all walks of life. If you haven’t joined our merry crew, the invite link is to the right, on the sidebar.
